Events: Celebrate your next event with us. We
have planned cooking, dinning events for gourmet clubs, business groups, mother's groups,
red hat ladies, birthdays, bachelorette parties. single groups, neighborhood clubs, new
year events and romantic valentine day events. We personalize the evening for you and with
special permission you may bring your own wine. The aim of the evening is to experience a
different culture, have fun, learn eastern cooking. If you are tired of the usual
restaurant party room for your group we urge you to consider our classes and dinners.
You wont have to travel far from
Minneapolis to experience fantastic cuisines. Go on a culinary voyage and cook with
authentic recipes and menus from our international instructors.

Spices: The Heart & Soul of
Indian Cuisine
Spices, spices, spices...they are the soul of Indian cooking. In this
class spices will grace a fragrant Basmati Rice Pilaf, soothing Chicken Korma,
tongue-teasing chutneys and relishes; side dishes like spiced yogurts and desserts. A
single dish may contain ten or more, exquisitely blended to excite the senses. We will
also discuss the Masala Dubba or Indian spice box which is used like an artist
uses the color palette
Chole Masala Exquisite Garbanzo Stew Roasted Cauliflower with Ginger,
Cumin, Turmeric & Tamarind Stir-Fried Greens Bangladesh Style (with Black
Mustard Seeds, Cumin, Fennel, Fenugreek & Onion Seed) Basmati Rice Pilaf with

Curry Up = Thai and Indian Curry
Curry is a traditional Indian style of cooking in which food is cooked in a
concoction of flavored sauce. We'll make four classic curries.

The Silk Route and Ancient Spice Travels.
Middle Eastern Cuisine includes regions from Turkey to Egypt to Iran. The
earliest and `the most exquisite and refined' is that of Persia, now Iran. This is `the
ancient source of much of the `haute cuisine' of the Middle East'. This is the route by
which rice from India passed into the Middle East and the West. Get introduced to
delicately flavored Middle Eastern stews; ways of marrying meat, poultry, or fish with
fruit to create extraordinary combinations of spicy, savory, and sweet.
We will cook Turkey Kobobs,
Hummus Arabic
Chicken Cooked With Baharat & Yogurt, Elegant Iranian Zereshk Polo or
Rice Hot Dish (the most glorious rice dish in the world), Mast
O Khiar, Persian Date Halwa.
